    @ikawpipa Your comment is brilliant, I love it.

  2. R00R says:

    @jonnois Please tell me, where is this system currently implemented successfully?

  3. jonnois says:

    @R00R If you that capitalism is the answer you’re the one that need enlightenment how about participatory economics or one of the many other alternatives.

  4. R00R says:

    @jonnois you sound so enlightened, and what economic system would you suggest? Point to an economic system that has a better track record of elevating the living standards of the greatest number of people.

  5. R00R says:

    @thedancingoboe I agree.

  6. R00R says:

    @InfomercialRemixer if that is the case, you were not living, you were sleeping. One does not wake up from living. Now that you are awake, learn from your mistakes and strive to create the life you want and learn to enjoy the journey even if you get dog shit on your shoes.

  7. R00R says:

    @jonnois If a system has not been tested,even on a small scale, how can anyone say it is better than that which has been proven to work best? You may hope other systems work better than capitalism, but until a system is proven in the real world you can only say you hope it works, you cant say you know. Capitalism uses is most suited to human nature. It forces us to figure out ways to benefit others so that we can benefit in return. It forces us to make things better, faster and cheaper.

  8. jonnois says:

    @R00R just because a system is not implemented doesn’t mean that it isn’t better, if you want to be closed minded and live in the dark that’s up to you

  9. R00R says:

    You have failed to point to a system that has a better track record than capitalism simply pointing to “other alternatives” is not proof.

  10. jonnois says:

    @R00R How can it be tested if no one is willing to test it taking you as the prime example, and further more capitalism has never, I repeat never be proven to benefit society as a whole, never. Why don’t you do some research before coming back with another biased opinion make sure you read some journal articles that has been peer reviewed not just some random source.

  15. jonnois says:

    @R00R In defense of participatory economics – M Albert, R Hahnel, DM Kotz- Science & Society, 2002, theres one article. The Rusinow Yugoslav Experiment, there one experiment, I’m 28 not 12, now stop trolling.

  16. DavidMavid94 says:

    @Junaamhier wuonnekt !

  17. Junaamhier says:

    @DavidMavid94 uwonket !

  18. R00R says:

    @jonnois so my opinion is biased and your is not? How old are you twelve? You sure argue as if you were. Please sight the journal in which the soundness of participatory economics has been peer reviewed. Name the experiment in which even a small group of people took on such s system and made it work. As to your argument that capitalism has never proven to benefit society as a whole. Please tell me one that has? My contention is not that capitalism is perfect, but that it works best.

    This video is great! You know why I rather rent a place than own? I don’t have patience to wait 15 years for my return on investment. Buying would mean spending well over 600k and being upside down until I was grey… after which I would be paying property taxes for the rest of my life in CA. To each their own, but If I’m going to be paying monthly for life regardless I’d at least like someone else to come out of pocket for the plumbing. Enter property manager.

  22. jasonfankhauser says:

    Fuck you rent.com.

  23. MissIcia says:

    Seriously. This is just wrong. What is so terrible about wanting to own something for yourself? When you rent your house, it can be taken away even if you pay for it.

  24. StrawbsShadow says:

    @Ryogu Yeah.. It wants you to rent. Simple enough
